I’ve been buying from them since 2000 when they opened their free library, because I think this is publishing done right. I also buy their hardcovers from time to time (maybe 10 or 11) which also often include a CD of the authors previous works. All non DRM’d. So you can loan them around.

I found your post to be very well thought out reasons why the ebook will probably not succeed. I won’t be purchasing any sort of ereader till a format is standardized and used across the different devices.

Privacy is also a huge concern because it isn’t the manufacturer’s business where I am located at an instance of time. And of course, like all things in Canada we will get a crappy overpriced deal compared to the USA.
